The German Foundation “Schüler Helfen Leben” will allocate 55,000 KM this year for youth activist projects in BiH.
Individual, informal groups and youth organizations that have activist projects and whose goal is the affect positive changes in their communities can apply for funding for up to 4,000 KM
Youth that wish to implement their project ideas in smaller and rural areas have an advantage, as well as people who send in their applications first.
The Foundation, together with its team of 12 young people coming from throughout BiH, perform a monthly selection of topics, and those who are interested can send in their ideas and projects during the year.
“Through the program fund for youth projects, which is now in its fifth year of existence, the Foundation has invested more than 240,000 KM in 150 youth projects. Some projects have achieved significant results, and they have served as the driver of positive changes in society”, stressed the head of the Foundation in BiH Aida Bećirović.
The “Schüler Helfen Leben” Foundation was founded by German students during the 1990’s whose goal was to help youth in the countries of the former Yugoslavia that were affected by war.
