The Sarajevo furniture factory opened 17 years ago, which initially only produced only material that is used for industrial production, and today exports to 25 countries in Europe and in the world. Recently, the first contingent was exported to Libya. In 2014 they plan to expand the export market and employ 120 people.
After dealing with these goods for industrial production for the first 10 years, they slowly began in the production of furniture, and in the beginning with around 30 employees. Today there are 150 employees, of which 100 are in production.
‘’We have a lot of export markets, and that includes Estonia, France, Portugal, and then Serbia, Montenegro, as well as all countries in the region and Italy. The greatest interest comes from the Benelux countries, as well as France’’, said Sinkra.
They are also active on the German market, where interest for the models from the Sarajevo factor is recognized. Also, Greece is an interesting country to expand the market.
Otherwise, production is serial, not done by measure, and according to them, customers are attracted to the fact that it is an affordable price of furniture and delivery times, for which they make a special effort to meet clients.
