More than 3,000 participants from a total of 30 countries will have the opportunity to participate in the half-marathon and the G-Drive race, as well as the Novo Nordisk Fun Run race and the Zmajzi Kid’s Run race, while the special “Run with me” race for disabled persons will take place as well, with the special support of the US government.
Applications for the 11th half-marathon will be available at www.sarajevomarathon.ba until September 9, while applications for Fun Run and Kid’s Run are possible on September 15 and 16, at the enrollment place in BBI center from 12 PM to 8 PM and in the zone of start from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM, unless the limit of 600 participants is exceeded.
“Coca-Cola half-marathon and G-Drive race represent a special attraction for runners from all over the world, and this year again we will have races for all ages and for all levels of form. We prepared some surprises for our participants this year, which will further increase the quality of this largest sporting event in BiH, “said Director of the Association Maraton, Erol Mujanovic, and thanked all the partners who supported their project again this year.
“As it was practice before, every race will have a socially responsible character as well, with the aim to help those who need it the most, and we are especially satisfied that we will bring 100 overnight stays to our city, which is a significant contribution to our local community and its economic development,” stated Mujanovic.
