The President and Prime Minister of the RS, Milorad Dodik and Željka Cvijanović, respectively, left for a two-day visit to Greece, where they are scheduled to open a representative office of the RS with a seat in Thessaloniki’’, confirmed today the cabinet of the entity presidency.
The RS government adopted a decision on 13 June on the establishment of the office, whose head is Vasilios Lampre, who is a prominent Greek businessman.
The B&H entity already has a representative office in Brussels, Belgrade, Vienna, Moscow, Stuttgart and Jerusalem.
In the budget of the RS for this year, 2.730.000 KM is planned, while for the same purpose last year 2.878.000 KM was set aside.
The opposition in Parliament has repeatedly asked questions of the impact of the work and how many investors came to the entity, thanks to the work of these offices.
The answers provided did not downplay criticism that they are unknown or little merit of the missions in improving the economic environment in B&H.
Dodik and Cvijanović will speak with representatives of Thessaloniki on the business community in Greece.
