The third age, or retirement, puts a large question before every man and woman – how to spend all the free time that we get all of a sudden when we quit going on the work every day.
Taking caring of your grandchildren, visiting relatives and friends, long walks… These are just some of the ways to spend the time that we have after we stop working.
However, there is still enough time for different kinds of hobbies that can satisfy our needs for creativity.
A retiree from BiH, Jasna Bacevic, is satisfying her need for creativity in a very unusual way, by making lamps and different decorative objects, which are real art works.
Each of them represents a unique design because she has no templates or designs on the basis of which she creates them. However, even more interesting than the lamps is her choice of material for her art work, which is old newspapers.
Although it might seem that her choice is too simple, however, when you take a look at some of her works, you will see the romantic, “crazy”, elegant motifs that she makes with her own hands instead of the old newspapers that we usually just throw into the trash.
She gave a large number of her works to her relatives and friends, and since many of them live outside of BiH, thus Jasna’s works are now placed all over the world…
