The recording of a new soap opera, by the author of the regional hit soap opera “Crazy, confused, normal (Lud, zbunjen, normalan)” and the successful scriptwriter Fedja Isovic and the director Elmir Jukic started in the capital of BiH.
The topic of the new humourist soap opera “Hilmija’s Inn” is Sarajevo in the World War II.
Considering the fact that this soap opera will show a long historical period, it is a very demanding project, according to authors. From scenography, costumes, to everything else that is requested for recording, “Hilmija’s Inn” is a project that we did not had a chance to see in this region before, stated the director.
“It is a challenge in comparison to everything that we have done so far, and we are trying to shift the scale, in every sense, from the production to every other part of the project. We tried to gather a team of new people, some new faces, and maybe that is the most interesting part,” said Elmir Jukic, the director.
And everyone comes to Hilmija’s Inn, which tells a lot about his shifty and unstable character.
“The man who manages to survive in every situation. His general two conditions are fear and an attempt to survive a situation that is happening in his inn, which is visited by all kinds of people,” said Emir Hadzihafizbegovic, the actor.
The end of the recording is scheduled for the end of the month.
