The repair of the roof of the Cultural Center Banski dvor in Banja Luka should start soon, and therefore, a comprehensive reconstruction of one of the most representative city objects, for which was provided a total of 2.5 million BAM.
“We are expecting for these works to start as soon as possible, since contractors have been selected. It was foreseen for the roof to be covered in copper, in order to maintain an authentic look,” as noted from the Department of Communal Affairs.
“Experts from the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering from Banja Luka created project for renovation and restoration of the facade of Banski dvor back in 2004, and now it is necessary to fill this project,” as stated in the department.
A total of 2.5 million BAM will be spent for this year’s reconstruction of Banski dvor, which were provided by the Government of the RS.
Banski dvor was constructed in the period between 1931 and 1932 as the headquarters of the Vrbas Banate of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
