Benjamin Buric, the goalkeeper of the handball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Wetzlar team, played at the “All Star” match of the German Bundesliga, where a selection made from the players all over the world and a national team of Germany met.
This year’s “All Star” match was played last night in Leipzig, and in the world team Buric’s colleagues at the goal were a player from the recently completed European Championship – Swede Mikael Appelgren (Rhein-Neckar Loewen) and his compatriot veteran – Mattias Andersson (Flensburg). BH gatekeeper will replace Andersson in the next season of the former European champion from the north of Germany.
Buric has obviously already gained a great reputation in the Bundesliga, probably the strongest handball league of the world.
His quality was confirmed at the “All Star” match, which included handball giants such as: Andreas Wolff, Steffen Weinhold, Patrick Groetzki, Uwe Gensheimer, Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson, Mads Mensah Larsen, Lukas Nilsson, Andy Schmid, Hans Lindberg, Holger Glandorf…
