The Propaganda Agency from Sarajevo produced a documentary film on the war roles of doctors of the General Hospital Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš by journalist Merima Spahić, said Fena.
This is a war story of true heroes who worked in impossible conditions, sacrificed their own lives in order to save patients in Sarajevo from 1992-1995, regardless of their ethnic or religious affiliation.
The documentary film is told through the prism of a boy Marko who was severely injured in Sarajevo, where shrapnel nearly ripped his leg off. Today, Marko is healthy, happy and lives in Zagreb, and thanks to doctors who fought to save him.
The film lasts 41 minutes. It was filmed in February and March 2013, and the story of the hospital is a document based on the testimony of doctors and their humanity, as well as the courage and strength of the citizens of Sarajevo to survive the 1.425 days of the siege of Sarajevo.
