MOSCOW, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) — Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic in Moscow on Tuesday, the Kremlin said Monday.
The leaders will discuss the further development of Russian-Serbian relations and current regional and international issues, it said in a statement.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the growing tensions in the Balkans will be one of the topics of the Putin-Vucic meeting, but not the main one. “This meeting was planned several months ago and therefore it has no connection with the growing tensions in the region,” Peskov said.
