The Tourist Organization of Bijeljina will promote its tourist offer at Zlatibor where, in addition to healthy food that is produced in Semberija, the spa ‘Dvorovi’ and the ethno-village “Stanišići” and other centers for hospitality will be presented.
The Bijeljina Tourist Organization, in cooperation with the Tourist Organization of the RS, is organizing this promotion on 22 August, according to Pan Radio.
The Director of the Bijeljina Tourist Organization Simo Laketić told Srna that activities of this organization, both before and at the end of the summer are in full capacity, and that, in addition to the promotion at Zlatibor as part of the manifestation “Licidersko srce”, preparations are underway for the business fair on Modriča on 6 and 7 September in cooperation with the RS Chamber of Commerce.
“At this fair the majority of businesses in the Semberija are expected to attend, and exhibition space will be provided, which is an important saving that enables our activities to intensify with fewer resources’’, said Laketić.
He added that the significance of the activities, which Bijeljina has been planning for a long time, is for the city to receive a souvenir shop and Info-Center, and which is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
Laketić recalled that the Tourist Organization of Bijeljina is a part of a team that is preparing a business delegation for Abkhazia that is expected for the end of September.
“The delegation will consist of representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of the RS, Chamber of Commerce and representatives of the city of Bijeljina. Abkhazia offers us an opportunity to achieve business and cultural ties’’, said Laketić.
He said that from early spring to late fall the Bijeljina Tourist Organization is organizing a series of festivals.
He said that the activities gain in significance every year, and that Bijeljina, upon payment of a tourist tax, or number of registered guests, is at an enviable level.
“It is always on one of the three places, and often in front of Jahorina, Banja Luka and Trebinje’’, said Laketić.
