The promotion will be held from 18:00 to 19:00 at the Hotel Pub within Sarajevo Holiday Market.
Representatives of hotels and restaurants from Sarajevo, as well as donor representatives of USAID, Sida and CzDA are invited at the promotion.
The famous cook Muamer Kurtagić will lead the promotion and will convey to guests tips, recipes and information on cheeses from Travnik, Livno, Banja Luka and Tešanj. A catalog of B&H cheeses will be promoted on this occasion.
According to the assessment given by visitors of Sarajevo Holiday Market, the Director of USAID mission in B&H David Barth will award the prize for the best traditional cheese and the Director of Sida for B&H Pelle Persson will award the prize for the best new B&H cheese.
For the last four years through the Program of developing commercial agriculture (FARMA), USAID and Sida have supported the standardization and improvement of hygienic practices in production of B&H traditional cheeses, as well as the introduction of new types of cheeses on the market.
