In January 2020 compared to previous month, price levels increased by 0,5%, higher prices in divisions of food and non- alcoholic beverages, alcoholic drinks and tobacco, housing and utilities, health, transport, recreation and culture and restaurants and hotels.
In January of 2020 as compared to the previous month, the price index increased in divisions of Food and non- alcoholic beverages by 1,6%, Alcoholic drinks and Tobacco by 3,3%, Housing and utilities by 0,2%, Health by 0,2%, Transport by 0,1%, Recreation and Culture by 0,1% and Restaurants and Hotels by 1,1%.
Lower prices in divisions of Clothing and footwear, Communications and Other goods and services.
In January 2020 compared to previous month, the price index decreased in divisions of Clothing and footwear by 5,5%, Communications by 0,1% and Other goods and services by 0,1%.
On the annual level, on average, price levels increased by 0,7%.
The price level in January 2020 as compared to the same month of the previous year increased by 0,7%.
The average increase of prices was recorded in divisions of Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1,6%, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 5,4%, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 1,0%, Health by 0,8%, Transport by 0,3%, Communications by 0,1%, Recreation and Culture by 1,4%, Education by 0,1%, Restaurants and hotels by 2,1%.
The decrease of prices on average was recorded in divisions of Clothing and footwear by 9,0%, Furniture and furnishing by 0,6% and Other goods and services by 0,1%.
