The pre-festival program of the third Sarajevo Sevdah Fest will start tonight, 17 June, in Pivnica in Sarajevo and will last until 21 June. The entrance is free for all and all concerts will start at 8.30 p.m., reports klix.ba
The first concert will be by one the best BIH guitar players Muris Varajić who received numerous awards and international recognitions.
On the second night, the visitors of Pivnica will enjoy the music of Avdo Lemeš, a saz (traditional instrument) player whose singing portrays the image of BIH and he’ll perform songs from all over BiH.
On the third night, the string quarted ‘Adorate’ with Zvjezdana Patak, Mia Jašarbegović, Sanja Manov and Anela Smajić will offer a great time to fans of classical music but this time they’ll performa sevdalinka in the classical arrangement.
After ‘Adorate’, the audience will have the opportunity to hear Adnan Delić who’ll perform traditional BIH love songs sevdalinkas.
On the last night of the pre-festival program, Mirza Redžepagić and Kenan Mačković will perform sevadalinka in their unusual minimalistic arrangement, creating a fusion of flamenco and refined jazz with the rhythm of the Orient and blend of classic music.
