Italian company “Socksmaker 3“ in Tesanj, announced new investments in expansion of capacities in this year. The plan is to increase current production of around 18.000 pairs of socks for 40%, said Fabio Nobis, the director of the company “Socksmaker 3“, as the BH news agency Patria transmits.
As he said for the web portal ekapija.com, new investments in Tesanj are coming up after the reconstruction of the facility, which is currently in progress.
“We are now working on the expansion and the reconstruction of the hall for knitting socks. In the coming period, we are planning investments in machines, generally, as well as in the expansion of production. It will bring job for 50 workers“, said Nobis.
The company previously announced that plans to invest million euros in the next two years in the facility in Tesanj. As it was said after the meeting with FIPA, the goal is to produce 36.000 pairs of socks daily. Factory currently employs 100 qualified workers that produce around 6 million socks annually.
Socks produced in Tesanj are exported to Italy, that is, to the parent company “Trere Innovation“.
After three years, owners had, with gained confidence in the project and production capacity, as well as quality and productivity of BH staff, bought existing object in Tesanj. They started to invest in the reconstruction of the object, the most modern machinery and technology, as well as in staff training. As our interlocutor states, all that was done because of the motto of the company “The sense of quality“.
