The value of Serbia’s trade with the Republika Srpska is worth more than 400 million Euros, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is the third largest export partner of Serbia, said Nenad Durdevic, the director of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia for Economic Relations with Foreign Countries.
“We export corn, wheat, meat, products, confectionery, water, beer, juices to RS,” Durdevic said.
He told the RTS that Serbia from RS imports electricity, oil, and old paper, which is being processed in Serbia.
“Cooperation could be even bigger, given the potential. Banja Luka sees the chance in industry,” says Durdevic.
He stressed the need for much more intensive cooperation between small and medium enterprises from Serbia and the RS.
In the past 10 years, Serbia has invested 1.9 billion BAM RS, and in RS there are 47 companies operating in Serbia with investments of more than half a million BAM.
