Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramic visited the Cathedral in Mostar. The condition of the Serbian returnee community was discussed with the parish priest of the Cathedral, Radivoje Krulj.
According to the Federation of BiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees, the completion of the complex and church is a priority for the Serbian Orthodox Church in Mostar.
“The Ministry has regularly supported our work over the past few years. In addition to significant support for the construction of the Cathedral, we also received support for the reconstruction of the old school. It seems to me that we have hit the target so far.
“Krulj said The Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees will continue to support the return of all to their homes.
“We support the reconstruction of the Orthodox Church in Mostar and that says it all about us because we share the joy of the faithful in Mostar, as we shared the joy when the Ferhadija mosque in Banja Luka was renovated. The worst and best in the strong and powerful are margins and in the minority. Our strength is precisely in relation to minorities. We will continue to provide support to all religious communities, and those who do so speak differently about the so-called political elites, instructed from different centers of power and who do not share living space with people who returned to their pre-war places, “Ramic said, Klix.ba writes.
