Member of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Presidency Milorad Dodik and Northern Macedonia President Stevo Pendarovski discussed the current situation in the two countries and the region, and stressed the need to strengthen co-operation in all areas.
Pendarovski praised the growth of the economy in Republika Srpska, adding that it would certainly be reflected in the better standard of its residents.
He supported the formation of the Council of Ministers and expressed confidence that the functioning of government at the state level would certainly contribute to the economic development of the country and its entities of Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The meeting also discussed the European path of two countries.
Dodik said it was not fair that Northern Macedonia did not receive European Union membership.
Following a meeting with Pendarovski, Dodik attend the Svetosavska Academy at 7:00 pm, at which he received the highest recognition of the Serbian people in Northern Macedonia – the Svetosavska Charter.
The decision to award this great recognition was unanimously adopted by the Organizing Committee for the celebration of the national holiday of Serbs in Northern Macedonia, “Svetosavska Sunday 2020”, at the suggestion of the Serb community in that country.
The Svetosavska Charter is awarded to Dodik for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of the Serbian national issue throughout the region and for his significant contribution to the preservation of Serbian and Serbian culture and tradition in Macedonia.
This high recognition is also given to the Serb leader in Republika Srpska for his commitment to establishing unity within the Serbian people as a whole and to establishing good co-operation and understanding between Serbian and Northern Macedonia, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
