A high delegation of the World Diaspora Association of BiH (SSDBiH) will be in BiH from 21-22 March for an official visit, where they will have meetings with members of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović and Željko Komšić.
The Director of SSDBiH Zaim Pašić will lead the delegation. The Vice-Presidents Hasan Šehovic and Haris Halilović, Secretary Anes Cerić, head of the legal group Faruk Tičić, Ambassador of SSDBIH Ahmed Kemal Baysak and honorary member Sead Graf Kozličić, will accompany him.
They will also hold meetings with the Deputy Chairman of the BIH House of Representatives Denis Bećirović, the Director of the Agency for Statistics Zdenko Milinović, representatives of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees, FIPA (Agency for Investment in BiH) and representatives from the ‘1st March” movement of citizens.
The SSDBiH delegation will inform authorities in BiH of the situation of BiH diaspora, their potential and organization, as well as the problems, those particularly tied with assimilation, duel citizenship, supplementary education for children in their mother tongue and connection with their homeland.
The delegation also intends to directly deliver the requirements of the SSDBiH regarding the issue of the census and suggestions for a new BiH Constitution, which the SSDBiH drafted three years ago and submitted to the BiH Parliament’s Constitutional Committee for consideration.
