Delegation of the Government of FBiH, led by the advisor to the federal prime minister for economic issues and investments Suvad Osmanagić, visited Bihać with the president and owner of the company Camozzi Ludovico Camozzi.
After a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Una-Sana Canton and bankruptcy manager Šefik Smlatić, the visitors visited the plants of the company Kombiteks which has been in bankruptcy and out of business for more than 15 years.
In an attempt to relaunch the production in Kombiteks, which used to hire 4.000 workers, Government of FBiH has been working intensely for the past six months on negotiations with this Italian company, one of the largest manufacturers of textile machines in the world.
Company Camozzi is willing to move to BiH the most modern machines that currently operate only in Milan and bring buyers for the yarn that will be produced by this company from Bihać.
The reason why Bihać as selected as the site for future production by this strategic partner is the existing expert staff from the field of textile industry. Moreover, Bihać also has a Faculty of Textile, which has been another crucial reason why Camozzi decided to invest in this region.
