The Delegation of the Intelligence-Security Agency (ISA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), led by Osman Mehmedagic, stayed in a three-day official visit to the United States (US).
The visit was organized at the invitation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and on that occasion, a delegation of ISA BiH visited the FBI headquarters in Washington and the Terrorist Screening Center (TSC), a special FBI department in charge of identifying potential terrorists, and had a series of meetings with the FBI leadership.
BiH ISA Director, Osman Mehmedagic, in gratitude for the successful cooperation of two agencies, especially in the field of the fight against violent extremism, radicalism and terrorism, was given a statue of the well-known agent Eliot Ness, and a mutual commitment for further cooperation in the field of fighting terrorism and organized crime was expressed.
During his stay in Washington, ISA BiH Director, Osman Mehmedagic, also met with the BiH Ambassador to the US, Haris Hrle.
The visiting of the US was preceded by a meeting of representatives of the FBI and the leadership of the ISA BiH, which was held on January 18th this year in Sarajevo, when the director of the Agency, Osman Mehmedagic, was given with a plaque in gratitude for cooperation in locating and arresting Mirsad Kandic, the suspect for involvement in terrorist activities.
