High-ranking political representatives of B&H will meet with German representatives on occasion of the selection of candidates from B&H for the International Parliamentary Stipend (IPS) of the German Bundestag. The German delegation will be led by Mr. Arfst Wagner, member of the Germany Bundestag.
In the framework of the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS), which is fully financed by the German Bundestag, a total of 120 scholars from 28 countries will get the chance to become acquainted with the German Parliamentary System from 3 March 2014 to 31 July 2014. The aim of the program is to get to know the political currents and democratic decision-making process. The scholars will work in the office of a Bundestag member, and at the same time would be enrolled in one Berlin University. The program is conducted under the auspices of the President of the German Bundestag and is carried out in collaboration with three universities in Berlin.
All costs of travel, accommodation, food and insurance are inclusive with a three-month stipend provided for by the German Bundestag. Every year from December, the German Embassy in Sarajevo will provide documents that are necessary for participation in the program of IPS. Detailed information on the program can be found on the website http://www.bundestag.de/ips.
