The prime ministers of Montenegro and Macedonia, Dusko Markovic and Zoran Zaev, announced at a working meeting tonight that Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina launched an initiative to open a flight Skopje-Podgorica-Sarajevo.
The Public Relations Office of the Government of Montenegro announced that Markovic expressed satisfaction with today’s talks with Zaev, who initiated the initiative to establish the flight.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit to Montenegro, Zaev pointed out that this is a good opportunity for bilateral meetings and that the relations between Montenegro and Macedonia have only good prospects.
“Zaev expressed his conviction that the activities on the establishment of the Skopje-Podgorica-Sarajevo flight will open up new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of economy, tourism, culture, sports, education, as well as all other areas of life,” the statement read.
The Montenegrin prime minister stressed that this meeting was a good opportunity to reaffirm very good interstate relations and fully agree on the common interests that are reflected in the European and Euro-Atlantic agenda.
Markovic emphasized that in addition to integration interests, Montenegro and Macedonia have a strong interest in improving their economies, to contribute to development, thus increasing the quality of life of citizens of both countries.
