“Energy efficiency in our lake” will be organized today at the Panonian Lake in Tuzla as part of the project of U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Economics of Energy Efficiency (3E), as part of the “Years of Energy Efficiency in Tuzla Canton“.
“Energy efficiency in our lake,” aims to promote and raise public awareness about energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
On this occasion will be presented various models of solar collectors, as well as other models related to energy efficiency, where visitors with the help of practical examples will be able to learn about renewable energy and energy efficiency.
As announced from USAID, along with a very interesting program to visitors will be distributed promotional materials with tips and guidelines for energy efficiency.
3E project of USAID is a program worth $ 4.2 million for the promotion of energy efficiency technologies through the development of the pilot projects in facilities co-financed by the public and private sectors.
The aim of the pilot project is to show how in practice energy efficiency saves money for consumers and that is the most cost-effective way to reduce energy consumption.
As the energy use reduces the lower are the costs of the consumers – in the form of lower bills for heating, electricity and water.
The energy efficiency measures are relatively easy to implement, and the return on investment is in short term.
Until now the U.S. government, primarily through USAID, has provided $ 1.6 billion to help economic, democratic and social progress in B&H, was released from USAID.
