Economic growth in BiH should amount to 3 percent this year, it was stated in regular fall prognoses for world economy by the International Monetary Fund.
This international institution confirmed the prognosis of growth in BiH in comparison with spring estimations, when the same economic growth was predicted.
IMF is more optimistic when it comes to the progress of BiH than the World Bank, which published an estimation of growth for this year in the amount of 2.8 percent.
Next year, the IMF predicts that the economy of BiH will record a real growth at the rate of 3.2 percent and at the rate of 4 percent in 2018, which is also identical to the spring projections.
The IMF foresees that deficit of the current account in BiH will amount to -5.1 percent this year, -6 percent in 2017 and -5 percent in 2018. According to the IMF, consumer prices in BiH will decrease by 0.3 percent in 2016 and increase by 0.7 percent in 2017.
