About seven billion BAM have citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) borrowed from banks for consumer purposes or some 76 percent of total loans.
According to the data of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the second month of this year, loans to citizens amount to about 9.3 billion BAM or around 600 million BAM more than in the previous year.
Housing loans are in second place with total indebtedness of citizens, and they amount to just over 1.7 billion BAM.
After that, there are credit cards, which amount to 303.1 million BAM.
