The company GMP situated in Banja Luka is for the past fifteen years the leading producer of furniture in the region. Due to increased demand at the market, it decided to invest and extend its production capacities. For that purpose, new production drives has been installed in the object near Prijedor highway interchange in Banja Luka.
“This is only the first step of the planned extension of capacities which are 40 % bigger than so far. 20 new workers have been employed, and 40 to 50 of them should be employed too in the next two years. Our vision is to improve even more our products, knowledge, technology and human resources and to always keep up with the trends. Therefore, we decided to invest into expanding our production drive even in these times of crises.” – said the GMP’s director Predrag Ćejić.
This Bosnian company continues to contribute to the economic development of the country. It currently employs 170 workers while the number increases all the time. The main activity of this company is to produce upholstered furniture. GMP is mainly oriented towards export. Over 70 % of products is exported. Its products are available in all bigger furniture shops across B&H, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Italy, Germany and Moldavia.
Besides production, GMP also has its retail furniture shop ‘Enterijeri’ in the Karađorđeva street 2, in Banja Luka. This year, GMP marks 6 years of successful business.
