The Prosecutor’s Office of B&H issued an indictment for war crimes committed in Doboj and Teslic, and it is the most extensive indictment for war crimes in the region.
Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes issued an indictment against following:
- Ninkovic Milan, born on June 15, 1943 in Doboj, citizen of B&H
- Paravac Borislav, born on February 18, 1943 in Doboj, citizen of B&H
- Bjelosevic Andrija, born on April 11, 1954 in Derventa, citizen of B&H
- Savic Milan, born on March 26, 1952 in Doboj, citizen of B&H.
Borislav Paravac was a Serbian member of the Presidency of B&H, in the period from 2003 to 2006.
“Inductees are charged for organizing attacks of the army, police and paramilitary formations on villages, settlements and towns inhabited by citizens of Bosniak and Croatian nationality, during which civilians were killed and captured and taken to camps on several locations in the area of Doboj,” as announced from the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H.
Inductees are also charged for destroying a large number of religious and cultural objects in Doboj, Teslic and surroundings, which served for the religious needs of the population of Bosniak and Croatian nationality, and were also protected monuments of cultural heritage in that area.
Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office, along with investigators and collaborators, performed a thorough investigation and collection of evidence, after which the indictment was issued, which is the most extensive indictment for war crimes committed in Doboj and Teslic. The Prosecutor’s Office will prove guilt and responsibility of the accused by inviting 214 witnesses and technical experts, and the indictment was accompanied by hundreds of pieces of material evidence.
