Today, a presentation of the application that allows citizens of Sarajevo to report acts of corruption was held in Sarajevo.
Starting from today, citizens of Sarajevo can report corruption through online applications. The Interior Minister of the Sarajevo Canton, Nermin Pecanac said that every citizen can report corruptive act through an application on the website of the Ministry, and will be able to follow the case through the phases.
Denis Hadžović the representative of the Center for Security Studies explained how citizens can report corruption work and pointed out that it works in several stages.
He pointed out that the first phase is the registration of users on the application, then the process of explanation of acts of corruption that consists of answering ten questions and adding attachments such as photos, sound recordings and videos.
He added that after that, the case will become a subject of investigation.
For the end Hadzovic concluded that every person who decides to do this kind of reporting corruption has to be aware that false reporting acts are strictly prohibited.
