Some of the best and most interesting artists from BIH will perform at the first Sedra Sevdah Fest, and in their own ways will interpret traditional Bosnian songs, Sevdalinkas.
“Sedra Sevdah Fest is an opportunity for positive stories on Sevdah to expand and develop. After three festivals in Sarajevo and one in Banja Luka, this festival will also show that Sevdah belongs to all BIH citizens and everyone wants to nurture and develop it as their treasures and traditions. We are happy that we managed to organize this festival by the Una River, and we hope that everything will go as expected. We wish to share our story with as many people as possible, because we believe in it and it compels us to go forward’’, said the Director of the Festival Vlado Kabrera.
“Sevdah confirmed that it became music through which every generation of musicians in BIH finds its spiritual source in order to create, produce and enrich the total musical heritage in BIH. Sevdah on the Una is a primordial creative union of man and nature’’, said the President of the Organizing Committee for the Festival Dr. Šefik Smlatić.
Tickets in advance cost 5 KM, and on the day of the concert they will cost 10 KM.
