Federal Prime Minister claims Chief of Civil Protection signed Procurement of 100 Respirators



Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalic spoke on Tuesday evening in the Federal Television about the procurement of 100 respirators from China, which cost 10.5 million BAM, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

Namely, respirators were purchased by the company “Silver Raspberry” owned by TV presenter Fikret Hodžić. Prime Minister Novalic said the Federal Government is not a procurement service.

“We have over 100 foundations and organizations with which we work, and in that case the Federal Civil Protection Administration is competent to deal with these issues. The government has authorized Civil Protection to do this, and has done so on several occasions,” the prime minister said.

The Prime Minister confirmed that the decision was signed by the Chief of Federal Administration of Civil Protection  Fahrudin Solak.

Novalic said that the fact that the Federal government was the first in Southeast Europe to get respirators. “I am proud of that, and if there are any objections, the investigating authorities should resolve it. We have to wait for the investigating authorities. We must not allow the media or others to do it, “the Prime Minister said.

Novalic added that 23 million BAM had been spent so far.
