In the period January-November 2019 export amounted to 10 billion 630 million BAM, which is 3,1% lower than in the same period of 2018, and import amounted to 17 billion 898 million BAM, which is 0,8% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 59,4% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 7 billion 268 million BAM.
Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 724 million BAM, which is 3% lower than in the same period of 2018, while import amounted to 2 billion 207 million BAM, which is 3,3% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 78,1%.
Export to EU countries amounted to 7 billion 808 million BAM, which is 3,3% lower than in the same period of 2018, while import amounted to 11 billion 114 million BAM, which is 3,8% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 70,3%, according to BiH’s Agency for Statistics.
