The exhibition on the occasion of anniversary of atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki will take place on the Agriculture and Food University of Sarajevo from the 19th to 23rd of December.
Besides the exhibition in Sarajevo, the Alumni Association of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which is consisted of former participants of JICA training and expert of JICA Project in BiH Miyoshi Hiroki, will organize a series of exhibitions dedicated to the atomic bombing in Bratunac, Rogatica, Srebrenica, Sarajevo and East Sarajevo.
The purpose of the exhibition is to appeal on people to see the damage that is caused by the atomic bomb in order to understand the need for the abolition of nuclear weapons in the world.
Within the exhibition will be organized origami workshops, video presentations and petition for the abolition of nuclear weapons, as announced from the Department for Public Relations of the University of Sarajevo.
Japan is the only country in the history of mankind that has experienced the atomic bomb. Japan and Japanese people have an obligation to preserve the memory of the incident and bring the message to people around the world and future generations, in order to avoid such a tragedy to happen ever again.
