The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), in cooperation with the Ombudsman for Human Rights in BiH, and the Women’s Association in Canton 10, will launch activities aimed at a stronger participation of women in public life by organizing an initial meeting of a women’s coalition in this canton on 1 July in Livno.
The aim of the meeting is to encourage the establishment of women’s associations in the area of Canton 10 so that discussions would begin in the public sphere on the problems women face, and in order to find an efficient solution, announced the OSCE.
During the meeting, areas of interest will be identified, and the development of an action plan for lobbying on issues of particular importance to women will be identified.
At the conference, representatives of all women’s associations from Canton 10 (Glamočanke, Grahovljanke, Lasta Drvar, Li-women, Duvanjke, Kupreške) will attend.
