Due Diligence of Telecom Operators started in Federation of BiH

In May 2018 the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) started the due diligence of telecom operators BH Telecom and HT Eronet. Upon request of the FBiH Government, the due diligence project was financed by a grant from the European Union and carried out by a team of international experts from a consortium of PricewaterhouseCoopers partners.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has now completed the work and delivered two Final Reports comprising the commercial, financial and technical due diligence respectively of BH Telecom and HT Eronet to officially appointed representatives of the FBiH Government and to the two above-mentioned telecom operators.

These reports provide the Government of FBiH with recommendations of possible scenarios for the future development of telecom operators. It will ultimately be the sole responsibility of the FBiH Government in its capacity of decision-maker to decide which recommendation to follow and what path for the two telecoms to pursue.

The EU Delegation as contracting authority has administratively managed the project to ensure the timely delivery of reports, but has not received the reports for confidentiality reasons.
