The Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Milorad Dodik, said that the Republika Srpska (RS) would not raise any armed, but a political uprising, after the decision of the outgoing High Representative Valentin Inzko on imposing a law on “punishing genocide denial”.
Dodik told that Srpska should determine further moves in the right way, and added that he would propose to the National Assembly of RS to reject all impositions that have ever happened from the High Representative, as well as to withdraw from the agreement on the army and the Armed Forces (AF) of BiH.
“We only agreed to two agreements, and that is the army and the AF. Everything else was imposed. Everything that was imposed, such as the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, should be banned from operating in the RS territory and only accept what is exactly written in Dayton, ” Dodik said.
As he specified, it is clearly written in Dayton that BiH is composed of two entities and three constituent peoples.
“If that is not the case, then we do not need a BiH like this, which is full of violence by the international factor, full of hatred of Bosniak Muslims towards Serbs,” Dodik pointed out, who assessed the situation after Inzko’s decision as confusing.
According to him, all these years, Serbs have amended, whether they like it or not, some of their political approaches to BiH itself, and only Muslims have strengthened unitarism and centralism based on Alija Izetbegovic’s Islamic Declaration.
It is very easy to prove it, as he said and added that from Sweden to the United States (U.S.) and Japan, there are those who talk about how everything was conducted in the hope that the Serbian resistance would be broken.
“You did not break the Serbian resistance. The Serbian resistance will only now manifest itself in the right way. Of course, we will not start any revolution or armed uprisings, but we will certainly raise a political uprising that will go so far as to show that BiH cannot function,” Dodik said.
Dodik mentioned that today it will be discussed about the session of the National Assembly on this issue and how to organize it.
“As for the Assembly of Srpska, we will consider the overall situation. We have no reason to trust the international factor and the international community,” Dodik concluded, Nezavisne writes.
