Milorad Dodik, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), at a special session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (in Bosnian: NSRS), at which the work of the High Representative was discussed, continued to present unfounded views on the Office of the High Representative (OHR) and the functioning of BiH.
Among other things, Dodik questioned the Bonn powers, the legitimacy of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC), ie its Steering Board, and stated that the ALTEA mission should be abolished.
Once again, he tried to undermine the existence of state institutions, saying that “the state does not exist, but only the common.” In that context, he noted that he would never allow the BiH army to go to the border with Serbia in order to prevent the entry of migrants, as the other two members of the Presidency requested.
While mentioning the alleged reasons why the new High Representative “will not be valid”, he suggested to the deputies that they should adopt conclusions and look up to the work of the Assembly at the time when it was led by convicted war criminal Momcilo Krajisnik!
”During that time, we walked all over RS and considered every issue,” Dodik stated.
Without stating what he specifically means, Dodik told that the offered “conclusions give time until the actions start”.
“I am ready to carry out that political struggle,” said Dodik, who again made a false claim that “RS is a state.”
He spoke again about the referendum, saying it will be “when the deputies are ready to follow it, in a year or two.”
“I come here and propose an act on the referendum, even if it was my last act,” as he said in a dramatic address, urging officials to unite, Klix.ba writes.
