The meeting between the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, Republika Srpska entity President Zeljka Cvijanovic, member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Presidency, Milorad Dodik, Patriarch Irinej and other representatives of Serbs from the region, ended in Belgrade.

The meeting was also attended by President of the New Serbian Democracy Andrija Mandic, leader of the Montenegrin Right Marko Milacic, President of the Democratic People’s Party Milan Knezevic. Serbian patriarch Irinej congratulated Serbia’s National Day saying that they are in great temptation, but that they are looking for ways to solve all problems with God’s help. “We are not a great nation and can only survive if we are united in good, “he said.

BiH’s Presidency member Milord Dodik told reporters he was overjoyed that Serb representatives from the region were at the same table.

“I informed President Vucic and the other participants of the meeting about the intentions of the international community to overthrow Republika Srpska. The red line has been crossed and it is time for the RS to go its own way,” Dodik said, adding: Republika Srpska must decide on its status and independence.

Dodik said SDA Party President Bakir Izetbegovic said three days ago that the Constitutional Court is our mechanism, which means a mechanism for abolishing Republika Srpska.

“We will not try to take any measure that would lead to destabilization. Finally, the people will decide, we will ask that the status of Republika Srpska be decided through a referendum, and I heard President Vucic present arguments for peacekeeping. All this is fine, but there comes a time when the people cannot allow us to appear stupid, ” said a BiH Presidency member.

Dodik stressed that he supports Serbia and its policies, but that they pursue authentic policies in Republika Srpska, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
