The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, said yesterday night that the consents of the Republika Srpska given on the agreements on the army (formation of the Armed Forces of BiH) and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) will be withdrawn.
“These days, we are listing everything that has been done by the High Representatives or through our agreements and approvals.
“We will withdraw our consents to the agreements on the army and the VSTS,” Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka.
He pointed out that there is a desire to propose, and what will be decided on these days, that the army of the Republika Srpska be formed within a few months by breaking the law on the army.
“It’s all in accordance with the Constitution and there is no place in the world where the law is trying to overthrow the Constitution, they are just trying to tell us something like that. The Constitution of BiH states that there is an army of the Republika Srpska “, stated Dodik.
He called for a consensus in the RS National Assembly on these and other important RS issues, including the imposed decisions of the High Representatives.
According to him, the consensus must be essential, there must be a rigorous attitude in rejecting all decisions of the High Representatives that are not in accordance with the Dayton Agreement.
He said that there is a majority in the Republika Srpska that can decide, adding that it would be good for everyone to be involved in matters important to RS, and he called on them to do so.
