Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic said here on Wednesday that as a friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) she wishes well for the BiH progress towards the EU and NATO membership.

“I am glad to be in Sarajevo to give my support as a friend of BiH who does not want anything but well for the EU and NATO progress,” Grabar-Kitarovic added.Grabar-Kitarovic pointed on the tremendous potential BiH and Croatia have in bilateral relations, especially when it comes to the economy.
“Croatia has invested almost one billion euros in BiH’s economy and trade was close to 1.6 billion euros in 2017 and there are nearly 200 Croatian companies in BiH,” Grabar-Kitarovic explained.
“BiH will not have a better proponent of the European road from Croatia, and that is the same for the NATO accession,” Grabar-Kitarovic concluded.
