The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rejected the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH to ban Osman Mehmedagic from performing the duties of the director of Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) until the end of the procedure.
Mehmedagic can continue to perform the duties of the director of OSA without hindrance, Vijesti.ba writes.
It should be reminded that a hearing was held in the Court of BiH regarding the proposal of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH on measures to ban the director of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) Osman Mehmedagic, after the Court of BiH last week confirmed the indictment against him and OSA employee Muhamed Pekic for alleged abuse of office.
The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges Mehmedagic and Pekic with abusing their official position or authority, as well as the resources and capacities of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for private and personal interests, in order to obtain information and photos about the sender of the anonymous criminal charges against the director of OSA.
