In the Sarajevo neighborhood of Čobanija the construction of a new hotel began last weekend, which will work under the license of the leading world hotel operator.
The hotel will have 75 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, and will represent a new concept of hotel services in Sarajevo (extended hotel stay). The completion of the construction is planned for October next year, and the total value of the investment is 17 million KM.
The investor of the project is SEIC-Society for Investment in Southern Europe, which constitutes some of the largest financial companies and real estate companies from the EU and the Gulf countries, 3Y Fur Logistic and Project Betreuung GmBH, ICD members of IDB group, Dallah Al Baraka Holding, Al Othaim for Real Estate, Masarat Construction, Annahdah Medical and others.
SEIC is engaged in four areas in B&H: real estate market, business consulting, renewable energy and tourism. The focus this year was on investing in the real estate market and tourism. After investment in the construction of a complex of luxury apartments Dvor on Marin Dvor, which will lend a new visual silhouette to the center of Sarajevo, they have devoted their attention now to another urban center- Čobanija.
Since the use of the park, which is located near the construction site, will not be possible due to the personal safety of citizens, the investor took all necessary measures to protect green areas, and is committed to rearranging the park and enriching it, announced SEIC.
The planning and architectural control of this object was entrusted to Dušan Jovanović from ‘Argentaria’ from Sarajevo, and the first phase of construction works is led by one of the biggest European construction companies Strabag.
