The company Alternativa from Sarajevo recently opened a production plant for polyurethane panels, which is worth 14 million BAM. The new facility occupies around 10,000 square meters of closed and 5,000 square meters of open space within the Industrial Zone Famos, as confirmed from this company.
“The new facility is working in fully automatic way and it is equipped with the latest equipment that is currently available in the world. The line is producing polyurethane panels with a PUR (standard system) and PIR (fire protection system) with the thickness of 30 to 200 mm and up to 16 meters of length,” as stated from Alternativa.
According to them, the new facility has significantly increased the amount of production. The new facility has increased their capacities for up to 20 times.
According to the needs and demands of their customers, the company Alternativa opened a production and sales center in Banja Luka in 2009, as well as a company in Belgrade at the beginning of this year.
“We started distributing products to the markets of Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia through that company,” as announced by Alternativa.
Except for the neighbouring countries, the panels that are produced by this company found their way to markets of Austria and Slovenia as well. Currently, one third of the produced panels is placed on the domestic market, while two thirds are intended for export.
This company from Sarajevo is planning to realize new investments in the near future. According to announcements, they are planning to release a new line for the production of stone wool panels in spring.
