Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) triple basketball champions Bosna Royal lost to Lovcen 1947 Cetinje from Montenegro 85-100 in the 22nd round of the ABA 2 League here on Wednesday evening.
The two teams tied in the beginning of the first quarter, after which Lovcen 1947 Cetinje played better. Approaching to the end of the first quarter, the host team started to play better and won the first quarter with 27-26.
During the second quarter, the visiting team played offensively, ending the second quarter with 12 points advantage with the final result of the second quarter of 16-29.
The third quarter was opened very well, with precise shots and with good play of the visiting team ending the quarter with 3 points lead for the visiting team (21-24)
The fourth quarter saw a better play by the host team starting with 8 points advantage. However, with series of shots, the visiting team tides, ending the fourth quarter with the result of 21-21.
Drasko Albijanic scored 31 points for the visiting team, while Atif Durak scored 20 points for the host team.
The match against Lovcen 1947 Cetinje was the last one for players of Bosna Royal in the season of ABA 2 League. Currently, with four defeats, Bosna Royal is on the 11th place with 27 points. The ABA 2 League is the second-string league of the Adriatic League, which features teams from former Yugoslavia regions, as well as from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, etc.
