On the occasion of death of a member of the Croatian Army (HV) in Afghanistan, Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendes sent a letter of condolences to Deputy Prime Minister of the Government and the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Croatia Damir Krsticevic and the families of the killed soldier.
Pendes stated that she is deeply affected by the feeling of sadness due to a terrible event occurring in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan during which a member of the Croatian Armed Forces was killed and two wounded in this way.
We are aware of the challenges and dangers faced by members of our armed forces in the joint mission of building peace and stability “Determined support”.
With deep sympathy with the victims and their families as well as with all members of the defense sector of the Republic of Croatia, I emphasize the readiness of Bosnia and Herzegovina to fully support the partner countries from NATO in all cases.
