The 50th regional sports games (MOSI), which gathers around 2.500 athletes from 28 cities in Serbia, Montenegro and BiH will begin today in Prijepolje.
The official opening will be attended by the President of Serbia Ivica Dačić, announced the press office of the government.
The young athletes will compete in 12 disciplines-athletics, basketball, volleyball, karate, handball, football, chess, small football, mountaineering, fishing, beach volleyball and table tennis, as well as boxing and kayaking, announced Tanjug.
After the official opening and the introduction of athletes, there will be a football match between Prijepolje and Čajetina, and then there will be a race of 800 meters for women and a 1.500 meter race for men in the new athletics track in the city stadium.
The regional youth sports games will last until 7 July and is organized by municipality Prijepolje and with the help of the government of Serbia.
