Apple presented its affordable device iPhone 5C, and in the 31st second of its official video for this new smartphone the name of the band Bosnian Rainbows appears.
Bosnian Rainbows is an alternative rock band from El Paso, Texas and was founded in 2012. The band is composed of former members of the band The Mars Volta: Omar Rodríguez-López and Deantoni Parks, together with the singers of the band Le Butcherettes Teri Gender Bender and Nicci Kasper.
Omar Rodríguez-López came up with the name of the band and the rest of the members agreed on this name. The band is called Bosnian Rainbows in order to ‘’awaken hope, overcome differences, and at the same time discuss the hidden truth’’.
