Lieutenant Marko Vidovic, Sergeant Matija Ivakovic, soldier Ermin Hajric and leader of the team Lieutenant Dajana Dangubic, took part in the “Best Warrior Competition” (BWC) that was organized by the National Guard of Maryland in the United States on March 15-18, and they had to show their abilities in 10 different disciplines.
Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendes and the Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH Brigadier General Senad Masovic met with them and handed over awards and acknowledgments for great results they achieved.
Minister Pendes congratulated them on their great achievements at this prestigious competition and she handed over the Letters of Appreciation to each one of them for improving the reputation of the AF BiH.
The Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Masovic handed the Coin of AF BiH to the competitors on behalf of the AF BiH.
The ceremony was attended by the Military Envoy of the US to BiH, Brigadier Mark Karas, and the head of the ODC Mission to BiH, Colonel Corey Shea.
The competition was realized within the Cooperation Program “Army to Army” (M2M SPP), and with the assistance of the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) of the US Embassy in Sarajevo, as stated from the Public Relations Office of MIA BiH.
