According to the provisional data for 2016, there was a decrease in export prices by 2,6% and import prices by 4,3% comparing to the base year 2015.
Regarding the NACE divisions there was an increase in export prices in the division “Agriculture, forestry and fishing” by 0,1%, “Mining and quarrying” by 4,2% and decrease in “Manufacturing” by 2,7%.
Regarding the NACE divisions there was a decrease in import prices in the division “Agriculture, forestry and fishing” by 3,2%, “Mining and quarrying” by 22% and „Manufacturing” by 3%.
In the period January-December 2016, export amounted to 9 billion 417 million KM, which is 4,8% higher than in the same period of 2015, and import amounted to 16 billion 139 million KM, hence there is no change comparing to the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 58,3% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 6 billion 723 million KM.
Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 394 million KM, which is 4,4% higher than in the same period of 2015, while import amounted to 2 billion 57 million KM, which is 5,1% higher than in the same period of last year.
The coverage of import by export was 67,7%. Export to EU countries amounted to 6 billion 734 million KM, which is 4,4% higher than in the same period of 2015, while import amounted to 9 billion 923 million KM, which is 2,9% higher than in the same period of last year.
