B&H will be visited tomorrow on 16th August by six U.S stipends receiver of Kennedy–Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Abroad(YES Abroad) a one-year schooling program.
Students will arrive at the Sarajevo International Airport from Munich at 12:25, announced the American Councils for International Education-Sarajevo.
These are high school students from various parts of the United States (six students) that during their stay in Sarajevo will live with Bosnian families and will learn about Bosnian culture and attend the IB(International Baccalaureate) program at the Second High School.
YES abroad program was founded in 2007 and is fully sponsored by the State Department, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina is implemented by non-governmental organization of the American Councils for International Education in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo.
During the academic year 2013-2014, a total of 65 American students have received prestigious YES Abroad scholarships. American students will participate in the YES Abroad exchange program as young ambassadors of the United States in thirteen countries around the world in which this program is being implemented, among them for the second time is B&H.
